Dreamfly Innovations, a startup specializing in battery technology, has secured $300,000 in funding through a funding round led by the Rebalance Angel Community, with participation from IIM Ahmedabad’s CIIE.CO (Center for Innovation Incubation and Entrepreneurship).

The startup plans to utilize this capital to advance its product commercialization efforts and expand its team. Dreamfly’s primary mission is to transform the future of energy by leveraging software-defined battery (SDB) technology.

Established in 2022 by Dr. Saurabh Markendeya and Kajal Shah, Dreamfly’s flagship product is the Graphene Battery, designed to address battery-related challenges faced by drone companies, including the risk of battery fires. The company has successfully piloted its technology with drone-as-a-service firms operating in sectors such as agriculture, geospatial mapping, and space technology.
