Adda247 Completes Rs 150 Crore Acquisition of StudyIQ for UPSC Prep

Edtech platform company Adda247 has officially announced its acquisition of StudyIQ Education, a focused UPSC edtech platform, in a cash and stock transaction valued at approximately Rs 150 crore.

In a statement, the multilingual platform explained, “StudyIQ YouTube channel is India’s largest educational YouTube channel in terms of monthly viewership, and it ranks as the second largest in terms of subscribers’ base, following Wifistudy. Through this acquisition, Adda247 aims to reinforce its presence in the UPSC segment, which boasts one of the highest ARPUs (average revenue per user) in the test preparation sector.”

Anil Nagar, the founder and CEO of Adda247, stated, “StudyIQ students consistently achieve top-10 rankings in many state PSC exams. We will greatly benefit from their expertise in this field and the strong brand they have established over the years.”

StudyIQ Education boasts over 11 million subscribers and the platform garners nearly 100 million monthly views, as reported by the company.
