Rang De & PhysicsWallah: Empowering Education with Affordable Loans

The social investing platform, Rang De, has forged a strategic alliance with the edtech startup, PhysicsWallah, with the shared objective of offering economically disadvantaged students access to affordable education loans. This partnership is specifically tailored to benefit students seeking enrollment in the PhysicsWallah Institute of Innovation (PW IOI), a prestigious four-year residential program specializing in Computer Science and Artificial Intelligence (AI).

Prateek Maheshwari, one of the Co-founders of PhysicsWallah, expressed enthusiasm about this collaboration, emphasizing its significance in advancing their mission to democratize education on a broad scale within India.

Under this groundbreaking initiative, students will have the unique opportunity to secure collateral-free loans, with an average loan amount ranging between Rs 3-4 lakhs. These loans are made possible through the support of social investors, who are active lenders on Rang De’s platform. Importantly, the repayment of these loans is structured to occur upon the successful completion of the educational program.

PhysicsWallah is gearing up to launch the inaugural batch of its highly anticipated Computer Science and AI program on September 27th, marking the beginning of a promising chapter in accessible and affordable higher education for aspiring students.
