BITS Pilani Partners with CoinDCX for Cryptocurrency Education in India

CoinDCX, an Indian cryptocurrency exchange, has unveiled a partnership with the Computer Science Department of BITS Pilani. The goal of this collaboration is to provide training to more than 100 students in blockchain technology over the course of a year.

In a statement, CoinDCX explained that this joint effort aims to combat misinformation and raise awareness among students about emerging technologies, particularly as cryptocurrencies edge closer to mainstream acceptance. The initiative focuses on educational projects related to blockchain and cryptocurrency, including the development of smart contracts and decentralized applications (DApps).

The initiative also places importance on promoting blockchain literacy and encouraging students to engage in research related to decentralized systems. CoinDCX’s overarching strategic objective is to enhance India’s understanding and expertise in cryptocurrency and blockchain technology.

Sumit Gupta, CEO and Co-founder of CoinDCX, emphasized the significance of cryptocurrency in advancing the Indian economy. The plan is to train over 100 students in blockchain technology over the course of one year. CoinDCX had previously launched DCX Learn, a learning resource platform in 2020, to foster awareness and understanding of cryptocurrency and blockchain.
